Since humans are creating life; albeit artificial life in the form of androids and robots, does this make them a God? That is to say God Like for creating new life? Indeed the robotic artificially intelligent androids are worthy of mention in this present period. Good stuff. Recently in an online Think Tank Forum a gentleman and fellow thinker posted a comment titled; We Are God. Indeed the "We are God" comment was eluding to the fact that we are creating new life, albeit artificial life and studying systems and how to best achieve this. And indeed isn't that the ultimate in self-determination and self-destiny? Rather than working with in the confines of what is now available and we happened into; we are re-creating our world and allowing our own forward progression as we see fit. Indeed, if one believes in freedom and choice that is a positive step for humanity. Plus it gives us purpose and sure beats the sound and fury of infighting, which serves no free man. Another astute fellow thinker replied to this notion and stated: "Stephen Hawking thinks its possible that robots will continue human existence in our place, traveling to different Solar Systems searching for sufficient energy." Many believe this and that makes sense too or a combination thereof, that is to say part human and part machine. As far as searching the solar system for sufficient energy, there is plenty all around us from light, sound, vibration, nuclear, ionic bonding, heat, etc. and all the forces they create. It is merely a matter of how you apply it and how you understand and use all the energies around you. Indeed this particular online think tank always has the most fascinating a forward thinking fellows of all. Interesting the types of thoughts, which come from the online collective mind of all humanity. Consider this thought and think on this in 2006. |
